After a comprehensive market trend research was conducted and evaluation feedback from current patrons were collected, we learned that our Capital Region diners are more sophisticated and knowledgeable than ever before about food, wines and spirits, service, and trends in contemporary cuisine, and with the help of the media, have raise their expectations for both quality and value.
In order to cater to our patrons dining needs, taste was conceptualized and launched in January 2011, an affordable contemporary fine dining restaurant that offers a deliciously healthful menu, continuing to meet the high standards of quality and creativity that this establishment has become known for, and create for you a memorable dining experience at every visit without breaking the bank. Outdoor Dining: As an outdoor fine dining restaurant with choices of our Garden Terrace, taste is a sound choice for fine dining outdoors.

Entrance: The entrance to the restaurant is located on 45 Beaver Street in downtown Albany. When entering off of South Pearl Street, walk though the lobby – past the elevators – and through the glass doors. We are located behind the big door to your left.
 Hours: The taste Restaurant is open for lunch Tuesday thru Friday from 11:30am to 4:00pm, and dinner Tuesday thru Saturday from 5:00pm to 10:00pm. The lounge opens at 4:00pm for dinner and drinks.
Payment Options: Cash and all major credit cards (American Express, Discover, Master Card, Visa) are accepted.
Parking: Valet parking is available upon request for an additional fee. Paid metered street parking is not required on weekends, major holidays or after 6pm on weeknights. Metered street parking must be paid weekdays 8am-6pm (25 cents per 12 minutes).
